Sacyr Engineering and Infrastructures completes the works of Querétaro Hospital (Mexico)


Sacyr Infrastructures and Engineering has delivered the new hospital complex of Querétaro, known as "El Marqués"to the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS).

The hospital has 260 beds, 26 specialties, 12 operating theaters, a heliport and other equipment; it serves more than 800,000 inhabitants of the states of Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato and Hidalgo and is one of the 12 modern hospitals that have been built in the country as part of the IMSS’ infrastructure plan.

The complex makes efficient use of water savings with a water treatment plant and an efficient use of energy thanks to LED lamps, among other low environmental impact resources.

Five hospitals in Mexico

This is the first hospital completed by Sacyr in the country, where it has four other hospital projects underway, including the Tlahuac hospital in Mexico City, which will be managed by Sacyr Concessions.
