Sacyr iChallenges gathers 79 ideas to solveits five innovation challenges
• After the nomination phase, the projects that will continue in the co-creation process until the end will be announced during October.
The Sacyr iChallenges program, which launched five business challenges in the innovative ecosystem last July, has closed the proposal phase with a total of 79 ideas.
Entrepreneurs, startups, technology SMEs and large companies have participated in this initiative, which is part of the open innovation strategy developed by Sacyr.
Of the 79 proposals, 16 belong to the Engineering challenge; 14 to Infrastructure; 11 to Smart Cities; 12 to Services; and a total of 26 respond to the challenge in the Water area.
The projects will now be assessed by Sacyr’s management and the key personnel responsible for the different business areas. Then an initial selection will be made from all the ideas of those proposals that are more viable and have the potential to become collaborative projects. These initiatives will be presented at the Sacyr Digital Day, that will be held at the Madrid headquarters on October 22.
In addition, the best solutions to the challenges posed will opt for the Sacyr Awards for Innovation, which will be awarded in November.
The Sacyr iChallenges program offers the innovative ecosystem collaborative work with its experts, access to its commercial network and the establishment of strategic "win-win" relationships.
