Currently, the electric vehicles available in the market cannot guarantee the provision of 100% electric service normally, since some do not reach the minimum performance of the batteries and those that do cannot do the demanding work usually required. In order to incorporate electric vehicles, regardless of their degree of maturity, the service requires an improvement in their performance.
In view of this situation, at Sacyr, we have developed intelligent management software for efficient driving of electric vehicles in the waste collection service fleet, which allows for the reduction and optimization of battery consumption in order to provide the same services with identical or better performance than that offered today with a fleet of fossil fuel vehicles.
The innovation of this project lies in the novelty that the software brings to the electric vehicle sector, since there is nothing like it for this market area.
