Flying noses to combat bad smells

Traditional methods for detecting odours in wastewater treatment plants are not only slow and costly, but they also fail to quickly identify the root of the problem. A team of Spanish researchers has come up with a solution: an electronic nose attached to a drone that identifies bad smells in real time.
