The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are a set of challenges designed to end poverty, protect the planet, and guarantee peace and prosperity for all nations by 2030. The 17 SDGs and their 169 targets encourage cooperation between people, governments, and companies. We have incorporated the SDGs in the new Sustainability Policy Framework and we aim to abide by them in all company activities.
We get all our professionals involved in the commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), to contribute to their promotion by the more than 45,000 Sacyr employees.
Coral Martín and Ángel Prieto
Our colleagues Coral and Ángel represent SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. Coral is part of Sacyr Sports Club, an initiative that seeks to promote healthy lifestyle habits among our employees. Ángel is a member of the Health and Safety team, and he perform tasks related to occupational risk prevention.

Eva Jalón, Director of Sacyr Agua represents SDG 6, Clean Water and Sanitation. Ángel Jimenez Huertas, from Sacyr Engineering and Infrastructures’ Supply Chain Management team, represents SDG 12, Responsible Consumption and Production.
María Notario, Diego Martínez and Lourdes Gonzalez-Llanos
SDG 5 (Gender equality) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) go to our colleagues María Notario, from Sacyr’s Diversity team, Diego Martínez, from Valoriza Servicios medioambientales and Lourdes Gonzalez-Llanos Romero, HR Director of Sacyr Concesiones.

Patricia Díaz, from Sacyr’s Innovation team, represents SDG 11, Sustainable cities and communities. Javier San Millán, CEO of Valoriza Medioambiente, represents SDG 9, Industry, innovation, and infrastructure.

SDG 13 and SDG 15 couldn’t be in better hands. They are under the wing of our colleagues Gonzalo Vicente and Paula Honrado, from Sacyr’s Environment team.
