Fundación MásFamilia has granted Sacyr Colombia the EFR certification in conciliation, acknowledging it as a family-responsible company. Sacyr Spain is an EFR company too since 2020.
This certificate ratifies the company’s efforts to promote policies and measures that support the wellness and work-life balance of its collaborators, proving its commitment to talent management, conciliation, diversity, and co-responsibility as the foundation for sustainability.
EFR has the backing of the Ministry for Health, Consumers, and Social Wellness and the acknowledgment of the United Nations and the Interreg Europe program as a good practice.
External audit
To achieve this certificate, the company passed an external audit that analyzed the 74 implemented measures regarding work quality, equal opportunities, flexible working hours and telecommuting, personal and professional development, and family support.
“The EFR Certificate, awarded by Fundación MásFamilia, is a unique management tool with a simple and efficient methodology to facilitate conciliation in companies. Likewise, it also promotes equal opportunities and inclusion, taking current, binding legislation and collective bargaining as its basis so that EFR companies can voluntarily self-regulate. There are more than 750 certified companies in more than 20 countries. Sacyr in Spain is one of them”, says Rafael Fuertes, General Director of Fundación MásFamilia.
In turn, Leopoldo Pellón, Corporate Director of Sacyr Colombia, pointed out that “this commitment drives and boosts the execution of our 2021-2025 Strategic Plan on people management, implementing actions that facilitate work-life conciliation. This certificate promotes constant improvement, based on conciliation’s transversality and potential to successfully face new workspace trends, and the development and wellness of our people and their families”.
