Industrialized construction utilizes processes and techniques and most of all its characterized by producing components in a workshop that are later transported to their final location for their assembly. It is a different concept from traditional construction that moves production outside the construction site. 

The Omega Center, a wastewater treatment plant in New York, functions in the same way as a living organism: it is self-sufficient in energy and water, uses natural resources for its filtration processes and takes advantage of sunlight and ventilation with bioclimatic techniques. What if the key to sustainable architecture lay in the features of these types of living buildings in their entirety?
