The company Rutas del Este has built a service area at km 173, Caaguazú. 74 roadside vendors, who previously sold their goods on the publicly owned land, have been relocated to this area. The service area has two sectors: one on the north side and the other on the south side.
These vendors now have a parking area and direct access to the road, as well as more comfortable and safer facilities to suit their needs.
