Our construction division, Sacyr Engineering and Infrastructures has hit the 90% progress mark on the development works of the 10 km divided highway layout of Section 1 of the Vía de Evitamiento in Chimbote, Áncash, for Concesionaria Autopista del Norte (AUNOR).
Construction works involve the first 10 km of the road, from the execution of km marks 0+000 to 10+000, which include Vesique roundabout and an interchange, as well as the construction of two bridges over the Santa (302 m) and Lacramarca (45 m) rivers.
We have used 24,000 blocks of concrete and 150 units of equipment. In addition, we have reached a peak of 500 workers involved in the project, that is currently at 90% progress.
