What makes AVO I one of the most innovative projects in Latin America?

The new highway aims to reduce air and noise pollution, as well as travel time in one of the most congested capitals of the continent.

The Américo Vespucio Oriente I (AVO I) highway in Santiago de Chile is one of the most modern and innovative projects in Latin America.

For its development, we used the latest technologies and the most innovative construction methods, as well as high environmental standards.

Did you know that it runs under the Mapocho River? This is a technical challenge that our colleagues at Sacyr Engineering and Infrastructures have met with great success.

This mega project, which spans for approximately 9 kilometers, crosses six districts of Santiago de Chile and is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Latin America.

Through Sacyr Concesiones and Sacyr Engineering and Infrastructures, we participate in both the concession society and the construction consortium.
