This stretch, which runs from the 155.1 km mark to the 174.9 km mark, has an intersection at the 158 km mark (Potrero Guayaki), another at the 170.6 km mark (Cantera Boca) and at the 171,6 km mark (calle Paraguarí), apart from several u-turns. 18 reinforced concrete cellular sewer pipes have been built for the transversal dredging, as well as a new bride over the arroyo Morotí (on km 161) and a box girder bridge on km 157.6.
The works consist on the duplication of lanes, separated by 6-meter-wide medians and the rehabilitation of the existing road, making a 27-meter platform. Each road has two two-way 3.5-meter-wide lanes, 1 meter-wide inside shoulders and 2.5-meter-wide shoulders.
Route PY02 comprises from km 73 of Eusebio Ayala city to the 183 km mark of Caaguazú totaling 109 km in construction. It is divided in 5 main sections, with variations in the municipalities where it goes through. It is a very anticipated road solution in one of the most important areas of the country that will benefit more than 30,000 users per day.
