Final stretch of the construction of Villarrica Hospital (Chile)

The construction of the new hospital progresses at a good pace and is already at more than 80% completion

The construction of Villarrica Hospital (Chile) is in its final stretch, at more than 80% progress. This modern hospital will cover an area of 21,000 m2 and will house 115 beds, an intermediate treatment unit, an emergency service and six wards, among other facilities. A polyclinic center will provide general medical care and offer various specialties

The new center will serve a population of approximately 100,000 inhabitants from the municipalities part of Nodo Lacustre, in the southern province of Cautín (Villarrica, Pucón, Curarrehue and Loncoche).

Sacyr’s fourth hospital in Chile

Villarrica Hospital will be the fourth hospital center that the company builds in the country, where it has already been awarded Antofagasta Regional Hospital, inaugurated in 2017 and managed by Sacyr Concesiones, the recently inaugurated Quillota-Petorca Biprovincial Hospital, and Alto Hospicio Hospital, which is scheduled for completion in 2022.

The construction of three other hospitals, Sótero del Río, Cordillera and Buin Paine, the latter under a P3 scheme concession, will begin this year.
