Sacyr will once again be the title sponsor of the Sacyr ASOBAL League on the upcoming 2021/2022 season.
Additionally, we will continue to lend the Sacyr name to all the competitions organized by ASOBAL (Asociación de Clubes Españoles de Balonmano) (Society of Spanish Handball Clubs): Liga, Copa ASOBAL y Minicopa. The Sacyr ASOBAL League logo is used in all the brand's advertising material and promotions and it features in the matches broadcast on LaLigaSportsTV App and free-to-air channel GOL.
The union of the two entities strengthens the reach of the highest-category men’s handball in Spain, and the sport itself, which has around 100,000 registered players and is a key part of society in many cities in Spain.
Commitment to Spanish handball
To Sacyr, naming the League is an opportunity to strengthen its commitment to a sport that it has been linked with since 2015 with which we share many common values. Recently, the company has renewed its commitment to the Real Federación Española de Balonmano (Royal Spanish Handball Federation) for another two years, encouraging the men’s and women’s national handball teams to continue overcoming challenges.
